Zone
A Zone is a fundamental component that defines an area (composed of multiple forms) and associates it with a specific music track to play.
The number of forms you need to create depends on the structure of your area. If your entire area is continuous, a single form is sufficient. However, if your area consists of multiple disconnected sub-areas, you will need multiple forms, as each form defines a continuous area enclosed by borders.
A Zone consists of the following:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name of the Zone. |
Parent Zone | Optional. The parent Zone of this Zone. If specified, being in this Zone also counts as being in the parent Zone. Additionally, if you reach a new level (checkpoint) in this Zone's music, the parent Zone's music will follow the same behavior. |
Image | Optional. An image that will be displayed in the dashboard (along with the Zone name) when you are located in this Zone. |
Form | Multiple. Each form defines a continuous area within the Zone. If no forms are defined, the Zone will never be selected. |
Music | The music track that will play when you enter the Zone (i.e., when you are within one of its defined forms). |
